- I’ve recorded some tales for The Unforgetable Danny La Rue for transmission later this year
- I’ve recorded a chat about Sid Field with David Suchet at Wiltons Music Hall again for transmission later this year.
- I’ve just filmed a documentary for tv all about travelling funfairs. It was filmed at Carter’s Steam Fair and includes lots of fascinating historical film from British Pathe. No transmission date yet. It’s tentatively called The More You Scream the More We’ll Show You .
- I’ve just recorded an episode of a new BBC1 series which will be transmitted in 2012 called “Call The Midwife”. It’s based on the best selling book of the same name by Jennifer Worth. I had a smashing part as a Boer War veteran – well it set in the 1950’s!
